The ABP Marathon is nearly here and we just wanted to remind you to think about your plans on Sunday 5 May so you can also plan your journey too.

There will be many road closures along the route. The organisers aim to cause minimum disruption with extensive traffic management in place to ensure residential access. Please note there will also be alterations to bus routes and timetables on the day. Find out more

Come along to Guildhall Square from 10AM-2PM on Saturday or from 7AM on Sunday to register for last minute spaces for the 10K, Half or Full Marathon!

Welcome to ABP Southampton Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10k! This fantastic event offers runners the choice of either a Marathon, Half Marathon or 10km race, along with closed roads through the heart of Southampton.

All races start and finish in the heart of Southampton’s city centre with the run course passing iconic local landmarks including Bargate, QE2 Anchor and St Mary’s Stadium. Sure to be the race highlight will be running both the ascent and more popularly the descent over the Itchen bridge, which will be closed exclusively for this unique event.
